Helping students succeed
Soomo Learning was launched in 2004 with the stated mission to “create something that works better and costs less than a traditional textbook.” We have been building interactive digital textbooks for college courses—and supporting the instructors and students who use them—ever since.
Along the way, we have learned that improving learning outcomes requires a motley crew of professionals. It takes the combined efforts of learning designers, software engineers, writers, editors, subject matter experts, project managers, support specialists, data analysts, UX designers, sales reps, and many more to forge the tools and content that enable students to succeed in their courses.
Including diverse perspectives
As an organization focused on learning, we are committed to the work of advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion across every aspect of our company, from the content we produce to the people we hire. To make learning resources that support all students, it is essential that we collaborate with and design for people of any age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability status, religious affiliation, socioeconomic status, or political perspective. If you enjoy helping all students learn, we want to meet you.
Open job postings
At Soomo, people make the difference. We’re not just a team of great people, but a team of people who have chosen to invest our careers in helping students succeed at learning.
